here the  Peace Corps of Nigeria (PCN), was given a special consultative status by the United Nations’ Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), which is a non-governmental and uniformed young people organization that focuses on collective work with the youth in getting to know them, their strength, their dreams and goalsns, what they are afraid to do, their failures, their successes and their passions with a view of building, tapping and redirecting their productive energies towards the social and Political advancement of the Nation.

Founded by a young hardworking, Amb. (Dr) Dickson A. O. Akoh,   on the 10th of July 1998, in  Kaduna,Nigeria. PCN, is really comiited and cherish National Creativity, Peace and Youth Development is registered in Nigeria under the Company and Allied Matters Act of 1990, Part C. After giving  a lot of energy into tireless work in a bid to enforce a functional and sustainable growth in youth development and re-orientation. Amb. Akoh observed that Nigeria the youth has a lot to contribute in the nation and they are yet to be really tapped since they are highly blessed
The Vision & Mission of PCN
The vision and mission of PCN is contained in the aims and objectives of the Corps which is to “Train, Educate and Re-orientate the Youths on their future leadership roles in the society, the Art of nation building, Respect for Constituted Authorities, the Rule of Law and Democratic Principle as well as imparting a high sense of citizenship and good leadership in the youths.”
